All research, funded or unfunded, that accesses or uses resources or patients affiliated with the Regina area of the Saskatchewan Health Authority (including their personal health information) requires Operational Approval.

“Operational Approval” refers to:

The process by which each Department impacted by the research provides their approval for the study to take place. The following considerations are made:

  • Is it feasible?
  • Do we have the capacity?
  • Can we afford it?
  • Do we have the personnel?
  • Do we have the space?
  • Do we have all of the other necessary resources?
